Abstract figurative paintings & drawings: a tribute to the diversity in the world inspired by tribal ritual art & human emotions!
These portraits are inspired by people around us and created from a great fascination for tribal and ethnic cultures. Every person is different! The external appearance together with emotions, thoughts and typical character traits determine our (facial) EXPRESSION. I try to work from the spontaneous creativity of a child, without judging as an adult. The result is a creative and colorful interpretation that refers to our (cultural) diversity in the world!
